Andy:
My name is Andy. I’m the co-founder of @thegemsgg, which is an Esports 3.0 aggregator platform within an O2O ecosystem. It propels Esports into 3.0 by integrating Gamefi, Metaverse and Socialfi elements, and leverages on its founding partners’ chain of Esports hotels.

1.1.So what is your sologan ? and where you came up the idea for GEMS ?
Andy:
Let me rewind back to share you guys how we came up with the idea of GEMS.
There are tons of GameFi, Metaverse, Socialfi projects since 2021 especially on Gamefi there are more than over 1000+ projects created. We saw the opportunity: “ESPORTS”.
We have a vision to make GameFi as the next Esports. So what we are bringing in in this blue ocean is to solve the high entry fee to the GameFi world as we witness that the gaming NFT are so expensive, enhance blockchain talent scarcity with training on the DAO guild and bring the blockchain community.

2.What sets you apart from your competitors? What makes you special compared to your competitors? What particularity do you bring?
Andy:
Of course! Firstly @thegemsgg is 1 of a kind and a new concept in the blockchain industry. It is like STEAM plus GUILD, which leverages our online platform with an offline presence. Online refers to the GEMS platform, which is an Esports 3.0 aggregator platform within an O2O ecosystem. Offline refers to our hotel network across Asia, with Southeast Asia as the initial footstep.
We want to build an ecosystem that contains various blockchain features and make blockchain games available to everyone. As we believe that GameFi will be the next Esports!
Our unique competitive advantage that set us apart from the rest is our O2O.

3.So Please explain your fundraising strategies and token sale statistics to us. Who are your strategic investors and partners ?
Andy:
Earlier on we mentioned about GEMS MASTERMIND. 1 of GEMS MASTERMIND: Mr Yuen Wong who is a veteran in the blockchain and have invested more than 60+ projects so with that in mind we are able to raise funds through his business relationship and his contributions in the blockchain world help us to close our fundraise completely at Seed, Private and Strategic rounds.
I would like to thanks some of our strategic investors: Plutus.VC, DEXForce, AvStar Capital and the list still go on.

We have more than ESPORTS features to complete GEMS as a ecosystem.
Every project have short and long terms investment. We are in the DECENTRALIZED FINANCE so I presume all of us know the benefit of DEFI as it is very popular right now.
With our partners, team, advisors and GEMS MASTERMIND, GEMS is the next platform just like AMAZON however instead of books @thegemsgg focus to trade gaming digital related products. Gaming industry is currently over US$258B so is a big market.
Gamefi also made up of almost 51% of the current entire crypto market hence following what is popular and a high yearly growth. Our ESPORTS 3.0 platform is moving along with the Gamefi’s movement.

5.What are GEMS near future plans? What can we expect in 2022? What are you focusing on now?
Andy:
Short term plan: We will launch our platform with the NFT Rental Subscription first so that financially distressed Gamefi’s gamers will have a shot to use our services and solve their Social finance issues to earn Game finance.
Long term plan: We have a mission to provide an all rounded, fully immersive GameFi experience by integrating our online system with offline hotel touch points, cybercafe, LAN Center, Esports University etc so that players can gather teams and battle in competitions in our Esports and GameFi tournaments in near future!

6.Metaverse is still in their infancy and are somewhat limited in their characteristics, in the future it is very certain that new Metaverse projects will emerge Do you think GEMS is capable of being a leader in the future with respect to Metaverse?.
Andy:
Metaverse required huge infrastructure. Looking at our current Metaverse global leaders: Facebook and Sandbox. If you can compared them:
Facebook is like Apple. They are designing their own ways of entry into Metaverse but only through their application: META.
Sandbox is like Microsoft. They want everyone to be able to design Metaverse using their technologies and platform.
End of day we have to watch what the global leaders are doing before we can determine the best approach to Metaverse.
As of now we are implementing the DIGITAL AVATAR which is the most important thing you need before entering Metaverse which is Digital Customizable Identity.

7. We know that Tournaments are an important source of income for all eSports players, And tournament transparency is very important..
So what kind of protocol does #GEMS implement to maintain balance and fairness in the tournament? .
Andy:
This is very personal to me. I used to be the Country Director and Coach for Team Impunity Vietnam and setup a Dota 2 team and also was the Champion team in Vietnam and World Rank 53 from 157. So being a ESPORTS VETERAN traditional esports is missing something which @thegemsgg can bring forth which is: BLOCKCHAIN. BLOCKCHAIN means transparency and preventing social engineering. Our tournaments also have in-game tracker to track results and prevent anti-cheats.
You see tons and tons of GAMEFI projects however not a gaming aggregator that can put all the GAMEFI’S project together in 1 place. Now @thegemsgg is capitalizing on this opportunity with solving other problems that GAMEFI are facing as well. Example: NFT Rental, DAO Guild etc.

All project coins have their main utilities & real-life usecase! So, can you tell us What are the main role of your coin in your ecosystem?
Andy:
We are going TGE most likely late March ~ April. Our main roles of $GEMS is such that every Gamer, Fans, Influencers, Game Developers, Sponsors and Enthusiasts can perform GEMS activities and get rewarded. We aim to be the 1 stop destination for all your GAMEFI’S need within the ESPORTS eco system including METAVERSE.
We are also planning to implement something very exciting in the west which is FANTASY LEAGUE that allow everyone to predict their favourite ESPORTS GAMEFI team.

9.Have you being audited ? Have not heard you talk about that security of funds is what every investor craves for and plans to escape incase of insecurity if funds,scams and rug pulls ? How strongly built are your security put in place?.
Andy:
@thegemsgg are currently in process of being audited and security of funds, we are working with some of the auditors in the crypto and security of of our ecosystem is of the utmost concern. As we continue to develop our platform we rest assured that security and hack prevention will be addressed by our security experts.
