1.Could you give some information about yourselves and DEFY to our community ?

BEN:
DEFY is a play to earn NFT mobile game built on the Polygon Layer 2 platform. Immersing players (operatives) in a metaverse that bridges the virtual and physical worlds, DEFY fuses hyper casual code breaking gameplay, learn to earn elements, real world exploration and AR adventures.

DEFY’s in-game economy has been designed with scale and longevity in mind. A dual currency model is combined with an extensive set of customisable tradable game assets as well as multiple active and passive earning mechanisms that can be leveraged by the players.

DEFY will launch with both premium and free to play user pathways, which will greatly enhance user acquisition and retention. An innovative graduation scholarship model aims to revolutionise the pathway to economic freedom for P2E players.

We are a team of experienced professionals who want to create a really fun and rewarding game for our community.

The DEFY team has extensive experience in developing highly successful location based mobile applications, having previously launched the District Race app and created highly sought after white label fitness apps for large global companies. These apps have scaled to over 700,000 users globally and partnered with brands such as Apple, adidas, Redbull and MasterCard. Added to this mix is a co-founder with a strong background in international finance, and a marketing lead who is one of the leading P2E influencers with a large existing audience and knowledge of digital marketing. With this, DEFY has one of the strongest founding teams in the space.

1.1.Why you choose Polygon to start your project ?.

BEN:
We really want to avoid our users paying a lot of gas fees.
The team and I have all been early adopters of NFTs and hate the experience of paying huge money for gas.
So Polygon is very attractive.
In time, we plan to be multichain.

2.What makes you special compared to your competitors? What particularity do you bring?.

BEN:
Do you want to fight laser armed drones in AR? How about learning the foundations of coding? Perhaps get fit and active… Or work together and crack codes as part of a community?.

4.Please explain to us about roles of $DEFY token in the DEFY ecosystem ,and features that make it different from other tokens out in the market. How can traders earn from DEFY platform?.

BEN:
Sure, we have been spending a lot of time working on this part of the business.

DEFY is built on a dual currency + NFT asset model. This allows us to work within the Apple & Android app stores, which currently prohibit crypto tokens to be integrated in apps.

In-Game Currency: FCOIN (Future Systems Coin) – In-Game points system which is used for action, reward and purchase within the mobile application.

Digital Token: $DEFY Cryptographic token) – The token of governance and utility in the DEFY ecosystem.

We are building a game economy which has multiple inputs and outputs of value. Not only can you swap your FCOIN for DEFY (via our unique system – check whitepaper for more) but also use your FCOIN to level up NFT assets that can be sold on the secondary market.

6.”Fun-to-Play-to-Win” is the new gaming concept that defydisrupt has developed. My question is, what are the improvements that this gaming system provides to your ecosystem and how does it differ from others like Play2Earn or the Play2Win?

BEN:
Why not! Life is too short to just grind for earnings. They game must be fun.
But more than that we have a serious mission as a team.

We want to bring new experiences to the P2E community. No more boring grinding for DEFY players.

Our goal is to reinvent the P&E player lifestyle by making their time spent in the game worthwhile by providing opportunities to:

Earn a decent living and graduate from their scholarship
Move their body, improve their health and explore their world
Learn the basics of coding and other valuable skills

7.”Defy Disrupt” is a NFT Game. How will they keep NFT production and demand in perfect balance for their market and asset values from plummeting? How will you ensure that the Reward for players remains stable and attractive to encourage mass adoption?.

BEN:
First point I have to make to your community is this.
DEFY isnt a PFP NFT project for flippers.
Our NFTs have real utility in the game.
Yes, our aim is for the NFTs to appreciate in value in time. One of our genesis NFTs just sold for ETH1.3 (mint price 0.08).
But we want the NFTs to have a real part to play in our game.
Ok on to the main part of your question.

We have a strategy of rolling out a “creators platform” – this will enable members of the community to propose and mint NFT game assets for DEFY – it could be drone skins, new masks for a faction or others. By having these external input of value into the system we can create a sustainable economy.

Secondly, we’ll work to integrate brands into our game. We have a big announcement coming soon about a global brand partnership for DEFY.

8.Staking and Yield Farming mechanisms of projects attract a lot of attention for investors to earn passive income. Can you tell us about the passive income opportunities that your project will offer to investors and its advantages over other alternatives ?.

BEN:
Later in 2022 we will have a LAND sale for DEFY. Owners of real estate in the DEFY world will earn passive income for all FCOIN earned in those areas, creating a great source of passive income.

9.Game design and development differ greatly from crypto development. And many P2E games that have recently been released have failed to deliver on the enjoyment component of the game. So, how has the team’s experience aided Defydisrupt in resolving these difficulties ?

BEN:
We’ve been building location based games for years and really understand that the UX is the most critical piece to get right. We use AR and other cutting edge technologies to create a really compelling and immersive experience for our players. Secondly, the story & narrative are absolutely central to creating an experience which people are committed to.
