Q1: Can you tell us about yourself and your project?
My colleague Pisa (COO) and myself (CEO) know each other since many years having worked together in some well-known asset management companies. Since 2016, we’ve been involved in the Crypto space given the growing interest of our clients to gain exposure and invest in this area.
About the project, I’d say that DefHold aims to become THE one-stop-shop platform where from traditional financial products are converted into new and innovative DeFi products. In addition to providing new DeFi products, the main problem we want to solve is to avoid providing any inflationary products that can’t be sustainable in the long run.
Q2: Why do you choose this name? DEFHOLD
DefHold is a mix of DeFi and Hold
This name made sense to us as our objective is to provide new DeFi products and reward crypto-investors holding their assets for the long-term
Q3: Many Defi projects were successful, which put a lot of pressure on the project. How will you do it?
Fully agree with you. However, I’d rather say that it is the eagerness and impatience of the investors which put a lot of pressure on the projects. We’ve seen that in a lot of projects and in our project also. Since the listing, many of our investors are complaining about the price drop which I can understand.
However, we’re still extremely confident that once our products will be audited and released, the price will no more be a concern. In our case, we’re truly that the price will recover very quickly as the products we will launch will be new and were never seen in the crypto area
Currently we’ve already given the below hints:
– fully decentralized product;
– trendy product of traditional finance;
– can somehow be compared to a special purpose vehicle (SPV)
Q4: What is the long-term vision of the project… ?
As previously mentioned, the objective is to create a wide range of innovative investment products which will always generate yields in a non-inflationary manner. In 1 year, I’d like to see at least 7-8 products audited and released. The process of every product will always be to pay fees in DEFO for its usage.
Moreover, as the products will generate revenues for their users, the objective will be to distribute part of the profits to the DEFO stakers. This way DEFO stakers will always be rewarded by the profits generated by any product even if they don’t use it on their own.

Q1: DefHold split the allocation of $DEFO to marketing 1 and marketing 2. Is both marketing will be conduct in different way? Why do you decide to split both marketing plan, is it necessary?
GUEST: Correct, 5% have been allocated to Marketing 1 and 9.7% to marketing 2 fund. The main difference between them is that the Marketing 1 fund was available immediately after Uniswap listing, unlike the marketing 2 fund which will be time-locked and released at a monthly 10% rate over 10 months by LID smart contracts.
This will enable us to get continuous funding to promote the project and attract new investors.
Q2: What requirements do I need to enter the VIP Stake? What benefits do I get? What are your guarantees?
The VIP pool was only available for presale investors and is already closed. However, there are still 2 “normal” pools in which you can stake until Sunday. The APY of these pools will amount to 59% and 91%. So you can still enjoy good returns by staking in these pools. Moreover, if the pools aren’t fulfilled the APY will be even higher than that as the allocated rewards won’t change.
Q3: I am read in your website:
“Initially, DefHold will only enable users to stake DEFO tokens or farm DEFO/ETH & DEFO/USDT LP tokens.”
Other pairs with DefHold will come up as?
Example: DEFO/BTC & DEFO/BNB
Other tokens pools will be added for staking but currently there are no plans to add other farming pairs.
Moreover, to increase the buying pressure on DEFO and generate continuous yields to the DEFO holders, every additional tokens’ pool will require to stake the amount corresponding to the EWF in DEFO. This mechanism will enable new investors to benefit of the hedge offered by the DefHold ecosystem without having to sell their tokens. In the meantime, it will also offer to DEFO holders a continuous price increase of their tokens thanks to the requirement of owning DEFO tokens to access DefHold features.
Q4: Can You please tell Us about $DEFO staking? What’s the reward like? What’s the minimum amount I can stake? Where can I stake presently?
As you probably noticed by having a look at our channels, currently there are 2 staking pools which are open until Sunday 8 PM UTC. Their lock-up period will be 60 and 120 days. Regarding the staking process you will have to download the unifyre wallet and stake your DEFO there.

Q5: What strategy must DefHold adopt to make $DEFO more valuable in value? The growth in the number of users and what applications does DefHold integrate into to expand your ecosystem?
The strategy to increase the interest in DEFO is that it’ll be mandatory to hold a certain amount of DEFO to be able to use the future products. Moreover, part of the profits generated by these products will be used to market buyback DEFO thus continuously increasing the buying pressure and offer price support

Token burn” is beneficial for any project, in being able to control the number of token circulation and to provide greater incentives to investors. Does your great project have a plan about token burn?
Currently, we do not have any burning plan in the very near future as our supply is capped at 12k DEFO and no further can ever be minted.
However, it is not excluded that at some point in the future “buyback for burning” events happen to reward investors.
What are the Current major issues in Businesses which DefHold is trying to solve? as well as which types of businesses $ DefHold is focusing on ?
The major issue we wanted to tackle is offering revenues in non-inflationary way.
Regarding the type of businesses focusing on, I’d say that our products are designed for long-term investors seeking investments where their behavior will directly influence their yields
Low liquidity is one of the main problems with the DeFi, Project what are you going to do about it? Do you have a liquidity provider program? What benefits for liquidity providers?
This was one of the reasons why we partnered with LID for our presale. They locked immediately the liquidity in the uniswap pools. As of today, I’d say that we have quite a fair liquidity locked, as it amounts to almost $700k
defo trading volume decreased, what is your strategy to get back the trust rom investors? do you have any big plans for the next few days to respond to this?
Agree with you. The strategy will be to audit and release our 2 new products by mid-december.
To ensure a great launch, a huge marketing plan will start next week and last until the launch of the products.
As mentioned above, this weekend, a contest will start to guess one of the 2 products which has been announced yet.
Are you afraid some day there will be another project with more innovative technology can replace DefHold ?
Yes this is one of our concern. This why we decided to keep our second product confidential still a few days to be sure no other projects can copy it before we launch it. Moreover, it’s an evidence that in the future we’ll have to continuously improve the products to be sure people continue to use them.
